Although we do not like to talk about it, reactions vary depending on our culture, age and religion. Euphemisms abound in discussion about dying. Passing on, making the transition, crossing over, kicking the bucket, falling off the twig, are just a few euphemisms for death in this life.
Apart from being born, dying is the most important thing we do in life. To make a permanent goodbye from this world is scary, and most people want to know what happens afterward. I would be like most people in my spiritual neighbourhood and hope that death is peaceful.
In this film there are well-known experts in various fields speaking directly about death, life, reincarnation and why we are here.
Among the speakers are Gregg Braden, author of The Divine Matrix; Dannion Brinkley author of Saved by the Light, artist Renate Dollinger, anthropologist/shaman Alberto Villoldo along with psychic medium and author John Holland. They all have important messages to convey about our lives today and Infinity which awaits.
This film is made up of a series of interviews with the experts, interspersed with breathtaking scenery and amazing fractal graphics – the best I have ever seen. Each person tells their story in brief selections, returning on camera repeatedly. I suspect this is so that we do not drift off into a reverie, lulled by the dreamy music and graphics.
The content is something you will find in tune either with your personal beliefs or completely at odds.
Reincarnation and an afterlife is a given. There are personal accounts of Near Death Experiences (NDEs) by Dannion Brinkley, who experienced three, and Alberto Villoldo.
Apparently, no one who dies escapes a life review. This is a process in which you experience every single thing you have ever done, good and bad, and from not only your current life, but all lives.
All the experts agree that life on Earth is to learn and serve others, harming no one. There are choices along every step of the transition from life to life. No one judges you. You decide what you need to learn. The big idea is that we are all powerful spiritual beings on a path of development. It is heartening to hear the good news from these brilliant speakers.
The people whose stories I found most numinous were artist Renate Dollinger, psychic medium John Holland (whose computer analogy to reincarnation was truly superb), and Gregg Braden, who pointed out the importance of valuing and learning ancient traditions. Alberto Villoldo’s story brought tears to my eyes.
All speakers expressed hope and optimism about our spirituality, the need to lose fear of death and our ultimate destination. We can start practising Infinity right now.
I recommend this DVD to all people who have ever asked the big questions: Who am I? Why am I here? Where am I going?
