Finding a unique and new perspective on the 2012 prophecies would at first appear to be an impossibility given the many websites, books and DVDs dedicated to explaining this phenomenon, but author Christine R. Page offers a new and refreshingly feminist vantage point to the expiration of the Mayan Long Count calendar on 21 December 2012.
For those of you who haven’t heard, for the first time in almost 26,000 years our sun will be closely aligned to the Galactic Centre. This alignment was prophesied by the ancient Mayan people, and outlined in their Long Count calendar which ends at this exact moment.
According to Christine Page, this alignment offers us a thirty-six year window of opportunity for humanity to participate in the creation of a new era of expanded consciousness.
For many pagan and Earth-Goddess followers, the Great Rift represents the universal Goddess-Mother. Christine likens the shape of the rift within the Milky Way to a female body and the Galactic Centre appears to be a cosmic “womb” which will align and form the shape of a pregnant female.
Therefore Galactic Alignment opens up the “vagina” of the Great Goddess and heralds the rebirth of the divine feminine qualities of the triple Goddess: intuition, emotional creativity and renewal. This is the return of the Great Mother; the core element of life that has not been honoured or embraced for the past several thousand years.
However, unlike many authors who base their work on channelled entities or obscure calendar interpretations, Page supports her hypothesis with a deep exploration of alchemy, mythology, as well as the astrology of the moon, its nodes and various phases.
She journeys into the ancient myths of Isis, Moses and the gold of the golden calf that becomes monoatomic gold. She delves into the translation of the Emerald Tablet on an incredibly fact-filled exploration.
Because Christine Page is also a medical doctor (as well as a naturopath), she ably brings interesting scientific correlations together. For example, medical science has discovered that cells taken from a human heart continue to beat at the same rate as the heart from which they came. When an unhealthy heart cell is placed next to a healthy heart cell, the healthy cell apparently “teaches” the sick cell to beat correctly and in harmony. This appears to point to a “memory of oneness” which can be seen and felt in the presence of master-healers and master-teachers.
I personally have experienced sitting at the feet of a master, unable to speak because of language barriers, only to discover answers popping up into my mind telepathically.
Page offers a diagram and the evidence that the electromagnetic energy of the heart takes the shape of a torus. Geometrically a torus is formed by many rotating circles, and even more amazingly, the Galactic Centre, to which we are now coming into full alignment, is a black hole shaped exactly like a torus. This is why many people call the centre of the universe the Great Mother.
So assuming the Galactic Centre has the same vibrational qualities as the human heart, our collective heart beats should begin to realign and adjust their vibrations to that of the Centre. Of course, what that means, and how it’s expressed, only time will tell, but Christine points out that we do indeed live in exciting times!
Christine Page’s studious attention to detail, and the facts she reveals from both ancient times and modern medicine are hard to refute.
She makes a very clear and irrefutable case for the fact that since 1987, and the Harmonic Convergence, we have seen enormous changes in our world. Who would have imagined that a black man would become president of the United States? Or that governments across the globe would align to overcome a worldwide economic meltdown? Equally, who would imagine that in the United States, the richest country in the world, people would lose their homes and be forced to live in their cars?
Of course there are those who continue to interpret these events negatively and fearfully, and so for anyone who feels at all nervous about the next four years, I urge them to read this book and explore the facts rather than the rumours.
Christine Page began her medical practice in London and then combined it with homeopathy. She currently teaches workshops on subtle energy and is therefore more than qualified to offer this well researched and fact-filled book.
The book comes with dozens of illustrations, references and a wide range of information from mundane astrology to the current obsession with monoatomic gold, which has been compared to the elixir of eternal life.
I thoroughly recommend this book to any thoughtful and dedicated researcher of the facts, not the fiction, of the 2012 phenomenon.
